Double Honours Productions was established by Colin Wakefield in 2006.

In April 2024, the company co-produced (with Yellow Brick Grove) a five-part audio series of Mrs. McShoogle, Scotland’s Second Finest Actress, a satirical monologue by Jonathan Fortingall. It starred Carolyn Pickles and was directed by Colin Wakefield. The series is available on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, Apple, Podbean and all major platforms.

In June 2022, a stage play of Mrs. McShoogle was performed by Carolyn Pickles at the Jermyn Street Theatre, London. The director was Colin Wakefield. The theatre script can be purchased on Amazon.

A day of readings from Rhyming History, the Story of England in Verse, was held with eighteen actors at the Jermyn Street Theatre in March 2011 in aid of Comic Relief. Over £2000 was raised for the charity.

On Your Honour, a legal comedy by Roger Leach and Colin Wakefield, was staged at the Jermyn Street Theatre in September 2007 in a three-week run.
